5 Effortless Ways To Lose Weight

by Joann Dunn

Whether you are trying to lose 100 pounds or just want to drop a few vanity pounds, dieting can be quite time consuming. In addition to finding time to work out, you have to plan your meals and track every calorie you consume. However, if you are a busy person, there are some things you can do to lose weight effortlessly.

1. Eat at a Table

If you are trying to lose weight, it is even more important to be mindful of what you eat. When you go to family get-together's and other social events, it is easy to stand around and not pay attention to what you are eating. Sitting down at a table every time you eat a meal can help you pay better attention to what is going into your mouth.

2. Drink More Water

By now, you probably know how important it is to drink enough water throughout the day. It not only keeps you hydrated; it can also help with weight loss. Water flushes toxins from your body and keeps you fuller longer. Instead of drinking that diet soda or juice, have a cold glass of water.

3. Walk More

If you do not have time to get to the gym every day, try walking more. Walking outside will burn calories and keep you fit. For example, you could go for a walk during your lunch hour at work.

4. Lighten Your Favorite Foods

Dieting does not mean you have to give up your favorite foods. All you have to do is switch to lower-calorie versions of the foods you love. For example, if you love pizza, you can eat one with reduced fat cheese. If you are craving ice cream, try frozen yogurt. Frozen yogurt tastes very similar to ice cream, but it has fewer calories and fat grams.

5. Include Fiber in Your Diet

Another way to effortlessly lose weight is to include more fiber in your diet. Fiber is good for your digestive system and will keep you fuller longer. Good sources of fiber include beans, nuts, whole wheat bread, oatmeal, fruits and vegetables. Women need 25 grams of fiber a day while men require 38 grams.

Losing weight does not have to be a challenge. If you follow these helpful tips, you can lose weight without trying too hard. However, if you are still having trouble dropping the pounds, you should speak to an experienced nutritionist

About Me

Pregnant? What You Need to Know About Your Pregnancy

During my first pregnancy, I spent a lot of time pushing pillows behind my back trying to find comfort. As the size of the baby grew, so did my discomfort. By the time she was born, I was more than ready to give birth. When I found out I was pregnant again, I was determined that I would not suffer through the same discomforts. I started researching ways to ease the symptoms of pregnancy, including back pain. I created this blog to help other expectant moms find remedies to deal with those symptoms that can be emotionally and physically draining.
